Writer: How to Write Short Stories Novellas and Novels

WRITER takes you from conception to completion, covering everything an author needs to know. Have a story you want to tell? Don't know where to start? What is it that writers do? Where do ideas for stories come from? What about universal building blocks? Are these the questions you are asking? WRITER takes you step by step through the structures and concepts of story building. The three act structure, turning points, character and dialogue, brainstorming, pace and rhythm, landscape as metaphor, the hero's journey to name but a few of the aspects covered. WRITER will take you by the hand and lead you through the writing process and help to put that story in your head onto paper and screen. Luca Collins has spent the last twenty years running dramatic storybuilding and creative writing workshops. WRITER is the culmination of all the workshops taught or attended. He is a filmmaker, published playwright, set designer and builder, actor and director. His short film 'First' was screened in two international film festivals. He has a Masters in Creative Writing from UTS Sydney.
