This book, “A Comparative Study on College Teachers’ Proficiency in Nepal” tries to evaluate the proficiency of teachers working at TU affiliated campuses and TU constituent campuses where the author has tried to critically interpret and suggest the ways to enhance teachers’ proficiency, an important area of teaching profession. It also presents the clear picture of Nepali colleges/campuses whether the proficiency criteria are introduced or implemented. The three major questions the book revolves around are: What is the level of knowledge and understanding of teachers in Tribhuvan University Constituent Campuses (TUCCs) and Tribhuvan University Affiliated Campuses (TUACs) in terms of their proficiency? How can the level of proficiency between teaching staff of TUCCs and TUACs be compared? What may be the possible suggestive measures to teaching staff of TUCCs and TUACS to enhance efficiency? The author teaches English at KIST College of Management, Times Int’l College and Platinum Management College, Kathmandu, Nepal. He holds degrees: MA (English Literature), MPA (Management), LL.B (Law) and B.Ed.(English Education). He is currently an M. Phil. and M. Ed. Scholar at IACER,Baneshwore and M.R. Campus, Tahachal, Kathmandu respectively.
