Description
The goal of this study was to develop a standardized rail plan for control, priorities, and movement of an armored division administratively within the United States. The following topics are presented within the document: background, trends and assumptions; control methods; vehicle and flat car capacities and characteristics; unit personnel and rail equipment requirements; total division rail equipment breakdowns; administrative breakdowns; and correspondence.
