Description
The word Environment is derived from the French word ‘Environ’ meaning ‘surroundings’. Each and everything around us is called as environment. Every organism is surrounded by materials and forces which constitute its environment from which it must derive its needs. Environment creates favorable conditions for the existence and deployment of living organisms. Environment is the concern of mankind. We all wish to have a clean environment but very few of us are aware and much less feel genuinely concerned about it.
