Dr Chris North lectures in outdoor and environmental education at the University of Canterbury, Christchurch, New Zealand. His teaching background includes secondary and tertiary institutions in New Zealand and North America. Chris’ contributions to the field were recognized in 2010 with the National Environmental Leadership Award, and in 2016, he received the College of Education, Health and Human Development, Teaching Excellence Award.
