This book will serve as a reader for students on early childhood courses and reflective practitioners working with or for young children in a range of early years settings. It provides and introduction to current research and thinking in early years curriculum, health issues, special education needs, biligualism, the role of adults working with young children and the role of parents in young children’s development and learning.
