The book is the result of a research developed at the Universidad Central “Marta Abreu” de las Villas (UCLV). Its purpose is to contribute to the continuous pedagogical training of university teachers through the formation of competences; a model of continuous pedagogical training is proposed for the formation of pedagogical competences in university teachers. It is presented as a novelty a model that contributes to the continuous pedagogical training for the formation of pedagogical competences in the teachers of the UCLV, which, through a system of actions of continuous pedagogical training, mediated by a Web site, hierarchizes the methodological work from which the superation, the postgraduate, the research and the extension in the formation of pedagogical competences in the teachers are interrelated. The contribution to the theory is materialized in the determination of the dimensions and indicators of the continuous pedagogical training of the teachers of the UCLV, and in the model of continuous pedagogical training for the formation of pedagogical competences.
