The twins, Kameron and Kayden Owens just heard the exciting news. Their mom, Monique Owens, has just been elected the first African American mayor of the city of Eastpointe, Michigan. There is just one problem. The twins aren’t certain what the roles are of a mayor. The twins finally ask their mom, “Mom, what’s a mayor?” The twins began to learn the roles of a mayor, the steps to becoming a mayor and discover that their mom’s election will be a part of new history forever.
