Description

The objective of this paper was to show the importance of a higher education focused on the practice of research, in which the pedagogical teacher can, throughout his training, experience research as a guiding element of his practice. It was shown that it is necessary to develop in the pedagogue, an education specialist, a more mature aspect of research, since he/she is responsible for the formation of subjects from kindergarten to elementary school. In Brazil, the pedagogue’s responsibility is significant, given his particularities as an educational professional. This research showed from the perspective of students and teachers of the pedagogy course at the State University of Maranho the need to invest during the pedagogy student’s training in research practices, which can offer greater proximity to the reality of Brazilian education.
