Wendy Hall takes those aspiring to do and be more in the dementia space on a path of self-discovery and reflection. She challenges mindsets and encourages a different way of thinking for a better way forward. Through the creation of the Dementia Doula role, Wendy redefines the industry standard and expectation by providing an all-encompassing community network around anyone impacted by advancing dementia. She highlights the importance of this at a time when feelings of disempowerment and disconnection are often most prevalent for all involved. The Dementia Doula, provides a platform through which to share stories of hope, inspiration and reflection so we can all come together to support each other to be better at dementia care than we were yesterday and to prepare us for being even better again tomorrow.
