Description
During Operation Iraqi Freedom, the combatant commander used land, air, sea, space, and special operations forces to achieve strategic and operational objectives. His staff synchronized their efforts with those of interagency and our multinational partners. They organized joint forces and directed the campaign in a unified effort among many diverse agencies to achieve the conventional victory in Iraq. Figure1 has been shown depicting the conventional portion of OIF. The next conflict will be similarly processed, combining all services and interagencies.
