Aoki s invitation to contemplate where curriculum scholars situate themselves in their work, and to probe into the historical and present conditions that make it both possible and impossible to attend to their work in classrooms and communities, both locally and globally, in mindful and ways. Offering a strong representative sampling of contemporary deeply cogent thinking in curriculum studies with a focus on contemplative approaches to curriculum, this theorizing brings in literary and other mixed-genre formats.
